One Pan Keto Philly Cheesesteak. Original recipe adapted with source quantities and workflow.
Follow the cooking flow and check each component at the stated endpoint.
The listed pan and basket capacity, cook times, and thermometer endpoint are for four servings.
Ingredients are scaled; keep food thickness, spacing, settings and safe endpoints fixed. Timings assume the four-serving batch and specified shortcuts. More food can require additional batches.
These recipes include household adaptations and recipes adapted from the linked publishers. The adaptations have not been kitchen-tested. Nutrition provenance and source limitations are listed with each recipe; missing nutrition stays unreported.
Read left to right. Each merged cell acts on the ingredient rows feeding into it. Parallel branches stay separate until plating.

Ingredients
- ⅔ lb flank steak
- 1 ⅓ count bell peppers of any color226 g
- ⅔ count small onion56 g
- 2.7 oz Baby Bella mushroomssliced · Source says 4 large or 6 small mushrooms, weighing 4 ounces. Uses its explicit weight basis.
- ⅔ tbsp Worcestershire
- ⅔ tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ⅔ tbsp minced garlic
- 1.3 oz cream cheese
- ⅓ cup shredded mozzarella
- ⅓ cup shredded parmesan
- ⅔ tsp salt
- ⅙ tsp pepper
- 1 ⅓ tbsp butter
Before you start
- Lidded skillet
- Mixing bowl
- Instant-read thermometer
Prepare cold sides first. Keep raw-poultry tools separate; use clean serving utensils. Probe more than one thick piece. A timer is not a doneness test.
Cook
- Vegetables
Brown mushrooms in a dry cast-iron skillet over medium-high with a little of the measured salt. Add half the butter with onions and peppers, cook until browning starts, and reserve the vegetables.
- Steak
Season steak with the remaining salt and the pepper. Heat the remaining butter in the skillet and sear steak in uncrowded batches for 1–2 minutes per side. Transfer steak out.
- Combine
Lower heat to medium. Stir Worcestershire, vinegar and garlic into the pan to loosen browned residue. Return steak and vegetables, add cream cheese and stir until it melts.
- Melt
Scatter mozzarella and parmesan on top. Cover the skillet until cheese melts. The publisher also permits 3–5 minutes under a broiler, which requires an oven-safe skillet and oven.
Where your attention goes
Stages can overlap. Do not add every row as separate elapsed time. Safe endpoints and actual appliance behavior override the estimate.
Why this works
- Source permits covering the skillet to melt cheese instead of broiling. Oven is only needed for the broiler route.
- The primary method melts cheese under a lid on the stovetop. Optional source broiling needs an oven-safe skillet and oven.

Publisher estimate per original portion; proportional ingredient scaling preserves that portion.
Listed allergens: fish, milk. Check purchased labels and cross-contact.
First-cook checks
- Source mushrooms 4 large/6 small also gives 4 oz; explicit weight used.
- Worcestershire sauce often contains anchovies. Fish is flagged as a possible allergen; check the actual brand.
- Salt is to taste: use a pinch first, then the remainder to taste; no measured split is given.
- Ingredient quantities are scaled from 6 original portions to four portions. Fractions of whole items may need weighing or dividing after preparation. Larger batches need extra cooking space or batches; keep thickness and endpoint checks.
- Adapted from Olivia. This adaptation has not been kitchen-tested.
- Safe doneness checks are added to the publisher method; timers alone do not establish doneness.
Leftovers
Refrigerate in shallow containers within two hours, or one hour above 90°F. Use within 3–4 days or freeze; reheat to 165°F. Keep cold greens and yogurt separate.
